Over time, transmission fluid can become dirty and filled with debris. This can cause all sorts of problems, including a shuddering transmission. 3. WebClean any dirt or debris from around the clutch pedal and master cylinder. Bleed the clutch system of any air bubbles. Inspect the pressure plate and throw out bearing for wear or damage. Replace as needed. Reassemble everything and test drive the vehicle to see if the shudder is gone.
